At 3:35 a.m., the man was transported to a nearby hospital from Eastern Parkway and Garfield Avenue after he sustained non-life threatening injuries to the right buttocks, right thigh area and right wrist, Kimberly Wallace-Scalfione, a spokeswoman for the mayor's office said.
He was treated and released from the hospital on Monday, Oct. 7, Wallace-Scalfione said. The investigation is ongoing, Wallace-Scalfione said.
